Terms and Conditions

1. Agreement to Terms

By placing an order with Home Grower (homegrower.store), you agree to these terms and conditions. If you do not agree, please do not make a purchase. We reserve the right to update these terms at any time. Your continued use of the site constitutes acceptance of updated terms.

2. Legal Compliance and Product Disclaimer

All clones sold through Home Grower are sold as ornamental plant material and are compliant with the 2018 Farm Bill as hemp-derived botanical specimens. Clones are shipped in vegetative state and test below 0.3 percent T-H-C. However, the legality of growing these genetics varies by state, county, and municipality. It is your sole responsibility to verify that possession and cultivation of plant material is legal in your jurisdiction before placing an order. Home Grower is not liable for any legal consequences resulting from your use or cultivation of products purchased through this site.

3. Product Quality and Viability

We guarantee that all clones leave our facility healthy, viable, and ready for transplant. Our mother plants are raised under organic integrated pest management protocols and have never been exposed to carcinogenic or petroleum-based chemicals. However, plant viability depends on proper handling, shipping conditions, environmental acclimation, and cultivation practices after delivery. Home Grower is not responsible for clone failure resulting from improper care, environmental shock, poor acclimation, or grower error after delivery.

4. Warranty and Replacement Policy

Dead or Non-Viable Clones on Arrival: If clones arrive dead, mushed out, or non-viable due to heat damage or transit conditions, contact us immediately at collect@homegrower.store with photos and a detailed description of the condition. Provide this notification within 24 hours of delivery for fastest processing. We will evaluate each case individually and authorize replacement clones in approximately 9 out of 10 situations. Replacement clones will ship on our next available shipping date at no additional cost.

Clones That Stall or Underperform Post-Transplant: If clones arrive alive but wilt, droop, or show signs of severe stress in the first 2-3 days after transplanting, allow a few days for recovery. If the clone does not rebound, contact us at collect@homegrower.store with photos and description of symptoms. We will replace underperforming clones on a case-by-case basis. For example, if you received a 4-pack and 3 thrived while 1 failed to establish, we will replace that 1 clone at no charge.

Lost or Missing Packages: If your package does not arrive or tracking shows it as lost in transit, contact us immediately with your order number and tracking information. We will reship your entire order at no cost, no questions asked. We recommend using tracking and delivery confirmation for all shipments.

No Refunds: We do not issue refunds on shipped clones. The solution to any viable issue is always replacement. This policy reflects our commitment to ensuring you receive living, healthy genetic material.

5. Shipping and Delivery

All orders ship via USPS Priority Mail with tracking. We do not offer expedited or express shipping options. Our custom-engineered shipping boxes with high-density insulation provide optimal protection for clone viability in all seasons. Shipping occurs weekly on Mondays and Tuesdays. Orders received by 8 PM Sunday ship the following Monday or Tuesday. Midweek orders received by 8 PM Friday may ship Saturday if volume permits. Typical transit time is 3-5 business days depending on destination.

Tracking information will be emailed to you automatically upon shipment. You are responsible for providing an accurate shipping address. Home Grower is not liable for packages delivered to incorrect addresses provided by the customer.

6. Clone Care and Acclimation

Clones are shipped hardened off and ready to transplant, but they require gentle acclimation to your grow environment. We strongly recommend: removing clones from packaging immediately upon arrival, transplanting into your chosen medium as soon as possible, starting under low-level lighting (fluorescent or LED strip), keeping high-power grow lights 4-6 feet away, avoiding direct high-volume air circulation, and considering a humidity dome for 1-2 days if transitioning indoors. For detailed acclimation guidance, visit our Cloning page or contact us at collect@homegrower.store.

7. Personal Information and Privacy

When you place an order, we collect your name, email address, shipping address, and payment information. This information is used solely to process your order, generate shipping labels, and send you tracking information. We do not sell, share, or distribute your personal information to third parties. Your email address may be used to send order updates and shipment notifications. You can opt out of non-essential communications at any time by contacting us at collect@homegrower.store.

8. Backorders

When a strain is out of stock, you have the option to backorder it. Backordered clones are guaranteed to be cut, plugged, and rooted within 14 days or less. Your backorder will ship on the next available shipping date once the clone batch is ready for travel. You may mix backorder strains with in-stock strains in the same order. Backorders do not incur any additional cost and follow the same shipping schedule as regular orders.

9. Limitation of Liability

Home Grower’s liability is limited to the replacement or reship of clones as outlined in the Warranty and Replacement Policy section of these terms. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from the use or inability to use our products or services, including but not limited to loss of crops, equipment damage, or lost revenue.

10. Contact Information

For questions about these terms, warranty claims, or any other concerns, contact us at collect@homegrower.store. We aim to respond to all inquiries within 24 hours.
