Bloomington Headband (often referred to simply as the Bloomington cut or Bloomington HB) is an elite, old-school Headband clone-only selection originating out of Bloomington, Indiana. It is widely considered by legacy cultivators to be one of the rawest, purest representations of the original Headband lineage.

Origin Story: Before commercial seed banks stabilized Headband, this particular phenotype was isolated and kept tight in the Bloomington, Indiana underground scene. It built a legendary reputation across Midwest and East Coast networks for having heavier diesel kick and sturdier growth traits than many West Coast commercial variants.

Cultivar Description

• Aroma & Flavor: Sharp, loud, and pungent. It leads with high-octane sour diesel fuel and raw chemical funk, heavily backed by tart lemon cleaner, pine needles, and a thick, skunky earthiness on the exhale.
• Effects: Hits with the classic “headband” sensation—a distinct, tightening band of euphoric pressure behind the eyes and across the temples. This initial cerebral rush turns into a potent, long-lasting body stone that releases muscle tension without completely knocking you out right away.
• Structure: Produces dense, spade-shaped olive green nugs loaded with bright orange hairs and coated in a thick layer of sticky, greasy resin. It tends to show stronger branching and a thicker main stalk than floppy OG cuts, holding up heavy floral development well. Loud, loud, loud!
